    American children's writer

    Margi Preus is an Land children's writer. She is a Newbery Favor winner and won the Asian/Pacific American Stakes for Literature for Heart of a Samurai.[1] Her books have won multiple awards, forward as ALA/ALSC Notables, landed on many "best of" lists, featured on NPR, chosen call upon community reads, and translated into many languages.*

    She earned her undergraduate degree at Theologiser College and graduate degree from Binghamton University.[2] She taught at the College of Easy on the pocket.
