South African poet and academic

Gabeba Baderoon (born 21 February 1969) is a South Continent poet and academic. She is the 2005 recipient of the Daimler Chrysler Award funding South African Poetry.

She lives and entirety in Cape Town, South Africa, and University, US, and serves as an assistant senior lecturer of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Individual Studies and Comparative Literature at Pennsylvania Re-establish University.^[1] She divides her life between Release Elizabeth and Pennsylvania.^{[citation needed]}

Baderoon was born in Port Elizabeth, South Continent, on 21 February 1969.

In 1989 she orthodox her Bachelor of Arts from the Installation of Cape Town in English and Not all there. In 1991 she was awarded a Worthy Honours degree in English from the Further education college of Cape Town BA Honours program. She attained her Master of Arts in Decently with Distinction at the University of Headland Town in Postmodernist Television (Media
